A bite-sized digital family concert which offered families in lockdown some interaction with orchestral music.

In response to the covid-enforced cancellation of live performance in 2020, including a live Family Concert at Southbank Centre, I proposed creating a digital short that drew on the diverse membership of Southbank Sinfonia’s players across the world.

Produced entirely remotely, the video combined footage recorded by musicians in isolation across the world with bespoke animation, exploring the influence of folk music on classical composers.
